Chapter Philanthropy

Service is a very important aspect of sorority life. Our sisters feel it is very important to dedicate time to give back. Kappa's national Philanthropies, Mental Health America (MHA) and National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA), is a focus for our sisters.  Each fall we hold an on-campus philanthropy event called "Kappasta".  In 2021, we were able to raised over $1,000 to donate to NEDA and MHA. Our theme for Kappasta was Mamma Mia!

Some other philanthropic events we have taken part in are: JCU Relay for Life, Ronald McDonald House volunteering, the Jesuit Day of Service, Cleveland Area Food Bank volunteering, Hugs for Heroes, Labre, Danie's Day, the Through The Eyes of a Child program, and many more.
