Chapter Philanthropy

Service is a very important aspect of sorority life. There is at least one service project planned each month that sisters take part in. Kappa's national Philanthropy, RIF (Reading Is Fundamental), is a focus for our sisters.  Each fall we hold an on-campus philanthropy event called "Kappasta".  In 2012, we were able to raised $1,650 to donate to RIF.

Eta Zeta's local philanthropy is Kappa Kidney Kamp. This camp is held in the summer for children with kidney ailments.  The camp is medically staffed in order to give children a "normal" camp experience. Many Kappa's have taken part in both domestic and international Immersion Experiences.

Some other philanthropic events we have taken part in are: JCU Relay for Life, Ronald McDonald House volunteering, the Jesuit Day of Service, Cleveland Area Food Bank volunteering, Hugs for Heroes, Labre, Danie's Day, the Through The Eyes of a Child program, and many more.
